Tasting notes
St Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is sourced from a classic terra rossa Coonawarra vineyard. After traditional vinification it is matured in primarily new and one-year-old French oak barriques for 18-24 months. The style is typified by blackcurrant, dark chocolate, cedar aromas, fine grained tannins and underlying savoury nuances. Some vintages have a touch of mint which lifts the aromatics. It is beautifully cellared to enjoy now or up to 2026.
