Can my recipients contact support to enquire about their gift?

Yes, they can. Contact details are available on the gift confirmation page.

Can I return my gift for a refund?

Dan's Gifting Hub offers returns (refunds) in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If in the event your purchase is faulty, damaged or does not match the items ordered we will gladly refund the gift sender the price of your purchase including delivery charges or exchange the product upon presentation of your proof of purchase.

To arrange a refund or return please call directly on 1300 658 200 (Option 1) as soon as you identify the problem. Please allow up to 10 business days to process your refund or exchange.

Our business hours are 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday (AEDT excluding public holidays).

Every effort is taken to ensure that products are described as accurately as reasonably possible. However, due to natural variations, aged wine (15 years and older) may have characteristics (including taste, ullage, cork/label condition) that can significantly differ from the characteristics that it had when it was young. Please expect these natural variations to be present before purchasing aged wine.

Please Note: Purchases made on Dan Murphy’s Gifting Hub cannot be returned/exchanged in Dan Murphy’s stores.

Can I return/exchange my gift at a Dan Murphy's Store?

Because our range is made bespoke for (and is unique to!) Gifting Hub, we can only send and receive these products from our central location, not at a Dan Murphy’s store. We apologise if this causes inconvenience.  

What do I do if the recipient does not want the gift?What do I do if I can’t accept the gift?

If your recipient does not want their gift, they have the option of foregoing receiving the gift which authorises the Dan’s Gifting Hub to donate the value of the gift to charity. See charity details here.

How do I know if my gift has been seen and delivery details confirmed by the recipient?

Log in and navigate to the “My Account” section of Dan’s Gifting Hub. Click on “My Gifts”, and each recipient’s order status will be displayed: either Gift Confirmed, Awaiting Gift Confirmation or Donated to Charity.

How do I know if the recipient has opened the email/text?

The email and SMS will be deployed on the scheduled date and you will have visibility of their acceptance. However, due to privacy not if they have opened it.

How will my recipients know that these gift communications aren’t SPAM?

We highly recommend that you take advantage of the ability to send a video message to your recipients, which helps to personalise and legitimise the message (and lets them know you’re thinking of them!).

The messages (email and SMS) that we send also show clearly that we’re the real deal! In research and past conversations with our customers, we find overwhelmingly that recipients are comfortable when they see that the communications come from a person (you!) and company (us!) they trust and recognise.

Can I resend the notification text/email to my recipient(s)?

Yes. As the sender you can re-send texts and emails to remind your recipients that they have an awaiting gift. Log in to Dan’s Gifting Hub, go to the “My Account” section, and click on “My Gifts”. In the My Gifts section you can view each recipient’s order status, as well as resend any email or SMS.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel an order up until when the notification email or SMS are sent from our system to your recipients. Messages are scheduled to send at 11am (Sydney time) on your selected gift date, please notify us in advance to help ensure we can action your cancellation request in time.

Can I use Dan Murphy’s/WISH gift cards for my order?

Unfortunately Dan Murphys/Wish Gift Cards are not currently available as payment methods for items on Dan's Gifting Hub.

Why can’t I use my Dan Murphy’s log in for the gifting site?

Gifting Hub is a brand new service that we’ve launched for Summer 2021/22, and is  currently housed on a separate portal from your My Dan's Account. To access, simply create yourself a new account on Gifting Hub. The process takes about 90 seconds (faster if you’re a speed typist).

It says my account already in use?

Have you ever used our sister company Shorty's Liquor? If you have an account with Shorty's, you can use these credentials for our Dan Murphy's Gifting Hub.

How easy is it to upload a spreadsheet of all my recipients?

In short, very! Just select bulk upload at the recipient step, download the CSV spreadsheet and input your recipient data. 

Please note, the spreadsheet should only contain email, phone, first name, and last name. All fields must be filled and no additional fields added (eg: shipping address) for the upload to work.
